Lionel Messi has made a career out of fooling opposition players with his dazzling skills and goal-scoring ability on the football pitch. Messi is said to be one of the calmest and most composed guys on the football pitch and commands a lot of respect from his fellow teammates and opposition players more for his humility.
However, even the best have some moments which may trigger the brain and cause the person to lose his mind. Here are some moments where the best player in the world has had a hard time on the football.
As one can see in the video at the end of the article, how frustrated Messi looks. There is a growing feeling in Camp Nou that off late Messi has not been at his best temperament wise. There have been reports of Messi having a tussle with former manager Luis Enrique, which could have been the reason for his departure from the club.
Another possible reason that could frustrate Messi is the performance of rival, Cristiano Ronaldo who has managed to win the last 4 Ballon d’Or during this phase. There was a time where Messi was also involved in a tax fraud case; these things tend to frustrate even the best. After all, Messi also is a human outside the football pitch.
Messi has also done a lot for the game and outside the game. The Messi family is said to have helped build 20 classrooms for the school in Syria which has helped over 60% of the students in Syria to receive the formal education. The Messi foundation has also helped children who suffered the same medical condition that the great man faced when he was a small boy.
We believe that Messi should try and focus more on his game and convert this frustration into goals and assists, which is what he does best. It is the World Cup year and if Argentina wants to go one step further this time, their “Messiah” must continue to perform as he always does.
This season, however, has been another spectacular one so far for the Argentine superstar; he has contributed in 40 goals this season for his club amassing 29 goals and 11 assists in all competitions so far. The 30-year-old also almost single-handedly carried his national team Argentina into the World Cup finals this summer in Russia.
