Barcelona’s new signing and the second biggest signing in the football history Philippe Coutinho was injured when he came to the La Liga giants FC Barcelona. He was suffering from injury resulted he was out for a couple of games. He missed some of the games for Liverpool as well when he was injured.
Last Night, against Espanyol in Copa Del Rey, Barcelona won the second leg and qualified into the semi-final. Barca striker Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scored each goal to led their side. Meanwhile, in the second half, Philippe Coutinho came on the pitch.
The Brazilian wanted to move to this Spanish club since last summer but Klopp and Pool board didn’t make that happen. He expressed how he was nervous to get on the pitch but later on, he adapted and settled himself.
“I was a bit nervous and anxious, but later I calmed down and adapted to the game. I am very happy to have played my first minutes with this club. I was moved by my reception.” said Coutinho.
He also stated how great it was for him that fans cheered as soon as he made it onto the pitch. Coutinho came on in the 66th minute of the second half in place of Andres Iniesta.

Speaking to Barca TV after the game, the Brazil international termed how much he suffered to get here and how it was his childhood dream to play for Barcelona.

“I suffered a lot to get here. This has been a dream of mine since my childhood. Many legends have played here at the Camp Nou, I’m very happy to realize this dream” said the new Barcelona signing.
The 26 years old also stated how difficult the game was and how necessary it was for Barcelona to win the game. “In the end, we won, which was the most important thing, and got through to the next round. It was a difficult game as we expected. They waited for us on the counter, but from the first moment we controlled the play, we had a good game, and we deserved the victory.” said Coutinho.
Coutinho’s bow came after ex-Barcelona attacker Ronaldinho had a message for his countryman pre-match.

The 25-year-old Brazilian is expected a start in the league game against Deportivo Alaves on Sunday. Barcelona is on top of the league right now.
